Green and environmentally
friendly buildings are rapidly growing in the construction
industry, More and more projects are
requiring LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
certification as part of the design. In
order for New York State Certified Minority and Women-Owned
Business Enterprises (MWBE) to position themselves to be part of
this emerging market, they need to be LEED accredited.
The New York
State Division of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development
is adding additional Product Codes to the Directory of Certified
MWBEs for LEED accreditation.
To add LEED
accreditation to your Directory profile, please provide the
following to the Division:
Valid copy of
LEED certification accreditation with photo id for the
person on your payroll who possesses the
LEED accreditation
Send all
documentation along with your request to add LEED accreditation,
your certification file id#, company name and address to:
