I spoke to the painters during their lunch break, they said work should be completed in 2007

  Finally the MTA has listened to our Hudsonic Org IRT #3 Transit Committee requests to have the IRT#3 train line structure rust scraped off, primed and the structure repainted. Our Hudsonic Org transit Committee has been soliciting the MTA to paint the entire structure from The New Lots Avenue in ENY right through to The Rutland Road Train Station in Brownsville for over two years. The MTA is also reconstructing the entire token booth house located at Livonia and Van Sinderen Avenue's on the ENY side of the Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge and at New Lots Avenue between Junius Street in Brownsville and Van Sinderen Avenue's in ENY. View the pictures below and you will agree, "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE " when you take the time to fight for what you believe in. Notice the way the unpainted structure still shows the rust, in picture # 1 and then look at the same structure in the pictures when it has been prime painted and waiting for its top coating of green that will cover over the red prime coating paint job. It takes months and sometimes years to coordinate and organize vendor sub contractors so they can begin work and complete the job.

The red prime color was painted on first because it is a rust inhibitor paint coating after the structure will be painted again with a top coating of green made specifically ordered and custom blended to fight against the harsh winter, summer, rain and sun weather elements from mother nature.

Our MTA transportation system is the greatest transportation system in the world bar none and should be improved immediately for all Brooklyn residents to ride on no matter where they live inside of NYC.                                       Each year we make more and more progress remember the journey of a million miles begins with the first step and right now we are taking our 3,500 step. Meaning that we have gotten over 3,500 signatures to hopefully make the MTA see that our Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge [LAWB] " FREE Fare Transfer Connection Point ", between the IRT #3, and The BMT L Train Lines Petition should be taken seriously.

                  This year we are planning to do something different ? We are putting together fund raising teams to help our transit committee pay for handbill flier printing and all of the other cost associated with making the committee move forward and getting the job done. Remember with out MTA Trains ? " NEW YORK " would not be " NEW YORK ", remember this a community project and not an individual quest ! If you are a local business owner or resident we need your help rebuilding and connecting The [LAWB]. Reconstructing this major transportation point will bring more business into the area,  jobs and enable Livonia Avenue on the ENY and Brownsville side of the bridge to come back to life with more stores and shopping malls. Reconstructing the IRT #3 and The BMT L Train Lines free fare transfer point, will bring more jobs to our community after Real Estate Developers rebuild the vacant lots into new stores on Livonia Avenue in ENY from Van Sinderen Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue and in Brownsville On Livonia Avenue from Junius Street right through to Rockaway Avenue. Most of us own cars, but will not drive into lower or midtown Manhattan. That is even a better reason for us to all band together and make our transit convience needs come alive participate, we need your help

    On Wednesday  May 19, 2004, we protested in front of The MTA Headquarters. Most people within our community do not attend community meetings or participate within any positive community events due to loss of " HOPE ", Despair, and Transportation Money to get to and from monthly meetings. We can't fix all of your problems but we sure are working on making transportation better for you so help us out we are looking for new board members and volunteers, so join us at our next monthly meeting.

               If you missed our first BOYCOTT At The MTA Headquarters Office " at 347 Madison Avenue In NYC  On Wednesday  May 19, 2004.  you missed another thrilling day in the history journals  of David { The UCC/Hudsonic Org Transit Committee } against Goliath {The MTA } to erase away a 50 Year old problem of neglect. Maybe our 50 year old MTA demonstration for a FREE Fare Transfer Point for all NYC MTA riders to use will go down in the GUINNESS BOOK of World Records ", Yes the MTA shall be the first one in the world, that could not figure out how to fix a simple 50 year old transit improvement problem, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU MTA ! Things are really starting to heat up NY 1 Cable News was there, and The DAILY NEWS NY's most popular newspaper wrote a story about our plight in The Friday 5/21/04 DAILY NEWS Brooklyn Section of the newspaper. Did you know that our MTA IRT #3, BMT L Train and The Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge FREE Fare Transfer Point ",  is going to be one of the hottest MTA topics ever in the history of MTA riders against the MTA. That's right it's even bigger than the Franklin Avenue Shuttle being reconstructed because the MTA did nothing for over 50 Year's to solve this problem. In the future as you transfer from the IRT #3 to the BMT L train line between ENY and Brownsville Brooklyn through our FREE Fare Transfer Point remember what it took to speed up your day and as the quality of your life increases as you arrive at your destination faster don't forget to read the names on the wall plague saying " Nothing Is Impossible " !   

    Their are not to many current important community issues today that will make one feel proud of who they are, what they are about, and what they are involved in like during the Civil Rights Era back during the 1950's - 60's. After 50 year's one of the worst and most embarrassing ENY & Brownsville community and political issues to date is ? The reconstruction of the IRT #3 and The BMT L Train Lines Third Express Track, Improved IRT #3 Shuttle Schedule, Improve Lighting, Security, Install A Handicap Elevator, and Enclose The Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge {LAWB} For Free Fare Transfer Point. The area around the transfer point is an eye sore and the entire elevated IRT #3 Train Line from New lots Avenue to the Utica Avenue station needs painting. The IRT and {LAWB} area frames the despair circling over our community, within resident's hearts and, shows lack of inner strength from the heart and soul in a community dominated by so many young African and Hispanic Kings and Queens. It sure is strange with so many " Hard Rock ", Super Tuff, Hip Hop Young Lions on the prowl playing the hard rock gangster mode. I find it so strange that the majority of these young lions and truly push over " Pussy cats ", when it comes down to community pride and respect for their own community. Most young lions today will not take a moment of disrespect or allow anyone to be rate them, but allow the powers that be The MTA, to dictate policy and all the young lions do is. Stand around on street corners angry talking about what pisses them off,. but will do nothing as they wine now as young adults for Mommie and Daddy to straighten out a mess of community issues that they them selves stood on the same corner in their day's and wined about also and remember this is a problem that has plagued our community for over " 50 Year's " 

    New resident's are daily moving into our community, if I moved into a new neighborhood and was paying $ 2,7500.00 for a new house. I guarantee you especially for those living right on the borders of the IRT #3 elevated rail line. I would immediately join in the fight to make sure that we the new incoming ENY, Brownsville residents, would take the lead to show other long time resident's that lost their hope, what self respect and repairing broken promises is all about. I would help get long forgotten community issues on the table, get them repaired immediately because I'am the leader of my own personal family and I need them to live in peace and within a community that joins together to repair broken political promises and policy issues that your own personal family could be proud of being that you are the head of the household I mean come on where do you draw the line in the sand at. If you don't have time to attend local meetings then read The Chairman's News Column on a regular basics and add your signature as a voice to our MTA Petition to send a strong message to MTA Executive Board Member's. By adding your signature to our MTA Petition and working together with us we can help to reclaim some of the lost year's of emptiness and powerless feelings like a disease that has infected our community so we can bring back some feeling of pride, stability and unity within our community.                 We are currently looking for Volunteers to help us obtain signatures from attendees during the Summer of 2007 between July & August. Volunteers will obtain signatures for our MTA IRT #3, BMT L Train Line and The Livonia Ave Walkway Bridge Petition to help the community obtain a third express track on the IRT #3 Train Line and to connect The Livonia Ave Walkway Bridge between The IRT #3 and BMT L Train Lines to alleviate congestion through out the entire Borough of Brooklyn within the MTA's system. Volunteers will be stationed at both entrances of concert fields from the beginning  July 2007 - Until The End of August 2007. The concerts take place every Monday Night at the Wingate High School Field In Flatbush and on Thursday Nights in Coney Island. " We might " ? Even be able to get permission from management so your picture will be taken and signed by a SUPER STAR on that night. We are trying to get volunteers bused to and from the entire concert series { STAY POSTED FOR NOTICES AVBOUT BUSES }

The Labor Day West Indian Day Parade On Eastern Parkway Is Coming In September 2007 !

                  Join us during the 2007 Labor Day Weekend to get MTA Signatures, we are planning to join forces with The Caribbean American Association. This organization is responsible for organizing the huge West Indian Day Festival Parade on Eastern Parkway with Millions of people in attendance. Join us and help gather signatures from attendee's and parade participants. You'll be able to see the colorful parade passing by and be involved in making a major change happen within The MTA. Transit history is about to be made. " WOW " ! Sound like fun, " Then Join Us " !
