Topic: Suggestions To Improve Fare Box Revenue On The MTA's Brownsville Side. Construct A New  Parking Lot For A Free Fare Transfer Zone For The  IRT #3 Junius Street & Livonia Avenue BMT  L  Train Stations.

You are looking at The MTA's Brownsville Brooklyn used train rail storage yard facing south the picture was taken on top of The Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge at Livonia Avenue and Junius Street the rail yard ends on New Lots Avenue and Junius Street. The MTA claims their is not enough revenue coming out of the fare boxes at the IRT #3 Junius Street & Livonia Avenue BMT  L Train Stations to warrant turning the Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge into a " FREE Fare  Transfer Point. But Deirdre Parker, an MTA spokeswoman, said a recent survey of riders found that only 3,000 people transferred between the two stops in the morning peak, not enough to warrant a free-transfer area. Notice how close the fare box figures are to warrant new construction of the Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge.

Our current transfer point MTA daily fare box totals between the two stations are only off by 1,800 people compared to the NYC Broadway-Lafayette and Bleecker Street train stops in the Village, with 4,800 all of us already know why Manhattan is getting the green light. But here is a great idea that we came up with that even a man or women with an extremely "low eye-Q" , and a blind man or women could see. If The Brownsville Brooklyn MTA  rail storage yard was cleaned up and reorganized, used rails neatly stacked on steel shelves 6 rows high on the left side of the storage yard. Their would be alot of extra room that could be utilized for an enclosed new parking lot with a security agent attendant that also collects the money. These improvements would enable more people to drive in, park pay small fee an possibly receive a discount off of their train fare at the turnstile. This would help the MTA to help increase the fare box revenue at both train stations making The Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge into a " FREE Fare Transfer Point even more important and generating additional revenue. In the mornings many people are short on time and have to move their cars to the other side of the street for mandatory sanitation department street sweeper cleaning most would prefer paying the small parking lot fee compared to receiving an expensive NYC parking ticket for not moving their car at all.

The MTA has always stoned walled The Livonia Avenue Walkway Bridge " FREE Fare Transfer Point Reconstruction Project " because, they do not want to answer for "50 Year's of share neglect", and the MTA consistently say to our IRT #3 transit committee, that their are not enough people to warrant reconstruction of  The  IRT #3 Junius Street & Livonia Avenue BMT  L Train Lines Stations. The MTA keeps claiming that fare box revenue is extremely low so here is another great idea that we came up with that even a man or women with an extremely "low eye-Q can make sense of" , and a blind man or women could see "in living color" [Smile] to remedy our MTA transit problem.
