Dear: Loyal friends and readers,

             The Federal Government has been working to pump billions of dollars into the banking system to aid an economy rocked by the subprime mortgage crisis and the severe tightening of credit. The central bank started a new type of auction in December to provide short-term loans to cash-strapped banks in hopes of keeping them lending. So far, the Fed has made available a total of $160 billion in short-term loans to banks through six auctions.

                Fears are growing that the country is teetering on the edge of a recession, if one has not already begun. I went to a home info seminar meeting back in 2006 at George Gershwin JHS in Good old ENY Brooklyn N.Y. The sponsors were speaking of ways a person could afford a three hundred thousand dollar home with only $13,000 down. Not all but most homes inside of NYC today start around three hundred thousand dollars and in my book I do not recommend anyone buying a home unless you can place anywhere from 50 - 75 % of the money down on the home and be able to pay for it your self not you, your wife, your kids getting down, or depending upon a tenant paying you monthly rent so you can pay your monthly mortgage bill off. "Yes", I mean paying for the home by "YOURSELF" ! It's one of the biggest mistakes many people make, example I use to work for The General Development Real Estate Corporation selling Florida properties inside of NYC until the company went belly up and declared bankruptcy back in the 1980's. One thing I did not like was how many sales people would do anything just to sell a home or property to a perspective client without being ethical or doing the right thing meaning. Selling a home to people knowing that they could not afford it.  I always thought it strange selling a three hundred thousand dollar home to a husband and wife barely making fifteen thousand dollars together, its a recipe for disaster. The bank interest loan rate alone in ten year's will definitely double and we all know wage increases do not go up or double that quickly and the reality to me always was that it was definitely a recipe for a future disaster to take place.  Some of the sales people would encourage having you utilize your son and daughter to help pay off the mortgage. That is a bad idea because when you do this it may seem like a good idea in the beginning but as the kids grow older and are ready to leave the home that is when you could be in for alot of financial trouble trying to figure out a way of replacing the money they now are taking out and going to buy their own home or acquire an apartment rental.

            A friend of mine was in that same bind doing janitorial maintence after school and on the weekends with his father cleaning up buildings in Manhattan NYC . I always wondered why when we would go out to a party he would have on some unironed raggedy clothes. He could not afford to buy any new clothes and I never had the heart to ask him why even doe I knew he had an after school and weekend job but never seem to have any pocket money or decent dress clothes to wear when ever all of us were hanging out or going to a party. Year's later I found out why, it was because he was helping his parents out by paying for their home mortgage. When he got older all doe he had been working for over seven years with his father he had no money to take his girl friend out to a movie much less buy a slice of pizza and a coke for her and himself. I' am still very angry at his mother and deceased father for placing him in that spot being that he could never go out and spend his own pocket money with his girl friend. Plus his name was not added to the mortgage papers and he presently can not borrow any money from a bank or use the appreciated value in the house to back a loan. In short his father cut the entire family out of the will towards owning the home in the future. The mother still lives in the home today with a heart condition and still has to pay the monthly mortgage bill to a lawyer. The moral to the story is my friends fathers, father [His Grandfather] did the same thing to his father and his real father passed it on down by cutting his whole family out of owning the home and having no say in any future dealings with their home, cut throat ha. The only one that benefited from all of this mess is my friends eight year old daughter. She will inherit the home when she turns 18 years old and she presently states that she does not want anything to do with the house, what a mess !. 

         That is why I am against any mother or father placing the burden of paying for the roof over the families head, directly on their children, "ITS CRIMINAL"! Many of today's real estate sales people still tell their blue collar perspective clients that they should make their children pay for their home mortgages, its wrong. Anyone that you hear telling their friends or family members to let the kids help finance the home ? Tell them about what you just read here and tell them why it is wrong. Many of today's homes are going into foreclosure directly because the husband and wife together could not afford to pay off the home mortgage with the money they make. Remember their are needs and wants when you are getting ready to buy something ask yourself, do you really need this or, is it just something you want but don't immediately need. if you can ask your self this question time and time again it should help to keep you out of financial trouble.  

          Many can't believe, but getting rich takes as much work as anything else, but the rewards are greater and you will feel much better about your self. Problem is, when most people grew up, Mommy and Daddy most likely never talked about starting a business or even dreamed about all of the new exciting ways of making money online, because they never knew about them back in their days. One former drug dealer that grew up in my housing project said to me when he got out of prison that he wished that he never sold drugs because, when he got busted his daughter was only 2 weeks old. He had to do 10 year's in jail and when he came out of jail he told me that he wished he never dealt drugs because when he got out of jail he went back to his former girl friend who never went to see him just sent him pictures while in jail when he went to see his daughter. When the door opened he recognized his daughter from the pictures his former girl friend sent him while he was in prison and he smiled opened his arms and called out her name when he saw her, " Hi Jenny Come To Daddy "! Now by this time his daughter had bonded with his former girl friends new man, and when he called out " Hi Jenny Come To Daddy " ! Jenny said your not my Daddy this is my real Daddy over here, I don't know who you are mister ! He told me that his whole world turned up side down and no matter what he does today he can never forgive himself because he is now sterile due to his present illness and cannot regain bonding with his daughter in the way he would like it to be. So see fast money not only burns through the pockets faster ? They burn through the heart, the soul even faster and hurts a lot longer in the future. He said I will never ever sell drugs again because it has truly, " wrecked my life " !  " GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER START YOUR OWN  BUSINESS TODAY, AND STOP BEGGING FOR A JOB " !
