Life is consistently filled with unexpected changes. Their is no road map you can walk up and buy at a local gas station, or grocery store to predict the future. I helped to reorganize The Cypress Hills Projects community area with 40 volunteers and a small N.Y.C.H.A Drug Elimination Program Grant back in 1991. It made me realize a whole new way of reorganizing our community for the better, but few believed in me even doe I had been organizing professional successful events since 1975. I'am now once again working side by side with The Police Athletic League { PAL } and together we are about to embark once again on a truly unique experience that you can be part of. On Saturday September 4, 2004 The Hudsonic Organization and The PAL together shall open a new chapter of providing quality cultural entertainment that shall continue to grow and go on to become one of " The HOTTEST Tickets ", in town in the future.
Our SHOWSTOPPER Basketball Tournaments will end on Saturday September 4, 2004, during that same evening we shall conduct our closing ceremonies for the tournament winners giving out the trophy's to the male, female team members, MVP Trophies and opening a new era of weekend quality entertainment that has never been provided before on a once a month continuous basics within ENY and Brownsville. Tournament Sponsors will be invited and cultural entertainment shall be provided, newspaper columnist will be there taking pictures of the winning teams and place their pictures within news articles in their own newspapers. At the same time it shall coin the birth of our commitment to a long dream coming true, The SHOWSTOPPER ENY and Brownsville Cultural Entertainment Theater. Residents from then on should be on the look out for our quality monthly programming similar to how Harlems APOLLO Theater and Bed-Sty's Restoration Centers Billie Holiday Theater presents high quality drama plays and other classic entertainment acts. Ticket proceeds shall help to support more quality programming like Drama Plays, Talent Shows, Comedy Acts, JAZZ and other types of professional quality cultural entertainment for your enjoyment.
This is the same type of quality programming we provided at JHS 218 located at 370 Fountain Avenue between Blake and Dumont Avenue's inside of ENY across the street from The N.Y.C.H.A Cypress Hills Housing Projects in conjunction with The N.Y.C.H.A Drug Elimination Program from 1991 - 1993. So see this is not my first attempt at providing quality programming for our community. At JHS 218 I called our Bi-Weekly programs, " Cypress Theater " our pioneer efforts united our community like never before with 40 dedicated volunteers our community was transformed during each event. As our program progressed more and more community resident's started coming forward to volunteer their unpaid help just to be part of a positive community event it's contagious. It was then I realized a new way of organizing our community similar to how the Japanese people live today by being part of a positive group to over come economic short comings. Our efforts paid off and reveled to me a unique way of reorganizing our community from within and that is why I built this web site to distribute more positive information throughout our community in a more efficient way so you can access it anytime " Day or Night " !
Safe Horizon which formerly operated the NYC Department of Youth Services Beacon After School Center Program that The Hudsonic Organization should have originally operated. As long as they have been in existence at the present location have not topped the type of high quality programming that we created back during the 1990's without any type of real funding money to operate the program with, these are not my words, these are the words of 100's of community resident's that I see on a regular basics as I walk through the neighborhood who consistently volunteer this information to me an I in no way do I ever initiate the conversation about how JHS 218's Beacon After School Center Program is operating. Safe Horizon is a great HIV and Domestic Violence Organization. But when it comes to operating an ENY Brooklyn Beacon Program ? They just don't have the " RIGHT STUFF " ! My long time friends who work for that school an let it be said and known that it is not their fault nor am I knocking them for working there. It's just a case of bad corporate management and management not knowing what our community really needs or cares enough to do any thing positive about it. Many ENY area resident's are not happy with Safe Horizons program and most of all Safe Horizons will not talk to the man that really started the ball rolling in the 1990's. Any way JHS 218 is my past, and PAL is my future operating my own not for profit corporation as a CEO and co-located inside of the the longest running number one not for profit organizations ever inside of New York State, PAL. Help support our endeavors all ticket sale proceeds shall go on to support more Hudsonic Showstopper Production Organization and PAL Programs to provide more high quality programming in the future that The ENY and Brownsville Community currently needs, does not possess, but will have shortly in the future for your family's enjoyment.
