If
we could all remember these
things.....
This is something we should all read at least once a week !!!!!
Make sure you read to the end!!!!!!
Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio .
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.
It is the most-requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7.. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their
journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry;
God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
But the second one is up to you and no one else
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life,
don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie.
Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years,
will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything..
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything
you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,
we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come...
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
Its estimated 93% won't forward this. If you are one of the 7%
who will, forward this with the title '7%'.
I'm in the 7%. Friends are the family that we choose for ourselves

APPLE HAS A NEW
COMPUTER COMING OUT
If its engineers hew to
recent history, Apple's tablet computer may
look nothing like what the prognosticators
foresee.
The speculative madness
surrounding Apple's rumored tablet computer
has finally reached its frothy peak.
Tech's chattering classes are
obsessed with the unconfirmed product, which
Apple (AAPL) may announce at an
event in January, or February, or March,
depending on which set of reports you adhere
to. Apple, not surprisingly, is mum.
The hunger for
information—and misguided
speculation—reminds me of the mistaken
prognosticating about the iPhone before its
introduction three years ago. It may be time
to step back and realize that Apple may
uncork a product so surprising that the
company again leaves the tech industry
scrambling to catch up to its products'
smooth operation and sleek design.
Documented facts about the
tablet are few. This much we do know: In
November 2008, Apple took control of the
trademark name TabletMac from a company
called
Axiotron, which
converts MacBook laptops into tablet
computers running Apple's Mac OS X.
Wild Imaginings
In April, BusinessWeek
talked with people who had seen prototypes
of a device they called a media pad as well
as a small iPhone, described as "iPhone lite"
by the person who saw it.
Then there's outside
speculation. In November the Taiwanese Web
site Digitimes, often regarded as a solid
source of information regarding the plans of
Taiwan's electronic manufacturing sector,
reported that the Apple tablet had been
delayed until the second half of 2010
because of the price to build its display.
On Dec. 24, New York Times
blogger Nick Bilton quoted two people—one an
unnamed source, the other a former
Apple
employee—dropping tantalizing clues. Jobs is
"very happy" with the machine, and users
will be "very surprised at how you interact
with the new tablet," the Times wrote. About
the same time, the Financial Times reported
that Apple plans to reveal the new device at
an event at the Yerba Buena Center for the
Arts in San Francisco on Jan. 26.
Missing the Mark on the
iPhone
It's important to take
reports like these with an appropriate
helping of salt. Apple holds numerous
trademarks it doesn't actively use; ever
hear of MacTel, Vingle, or Drypod? In
addition, Apple's top-secret labs in
Cupertino, Calif., have probably developed
numerous tablet prototypes, some of which
may be used to show potential partners but
that don't represent a finished product. And
leakers have a tendency to exaggerate what
they know, or invent from whole cloth.
A similar speculative frenzy
surrounded the January 2007 iPhone launch.
Looking back at Apple rumor site postings in
the months leading up to its debut, I
noticed how far off the mark many were about
the iPhone's looks, Apple's partners, and
who the carrier would be who could resell
it. For example, enthusiasts' home-made
design drawings that emerged on rumor sites
showed a phone that sported a navigation
wheel similar to the iPod's. Others imagined
the iPhone would have a slide-out keyboard.
Few saw the potential for a
touch-sensitive display, which eventually
became the signature design element of the
iPhone and iPod touch.
Consider the fevered
imaginings endemic to Apple. The company
engenders such strong reactions from its
customers that users tend to "project the
known upon the unknown," says Michael
Gartenberg, an analyst at market researcher
Interpret. That's why so many observers took
the well-understood iPod and grafted a phone
onto it when imagining Apple's iPhone plans.
A Larger Screen?
Apple's tablet may revolve
around a larger touch-sensitive screen than
the iPhone's, which could be central to its
design and control. I've speculated about it
myself in a past column. The iPod touch is
so useful an Internet device that I keep one
handy on my bedside table. It would make a
lot of sense for Apple to market a device
with a larger screen—say, 7 in. to 10 in.
diagonally—that runs applications downloaded
from the iTunes app store, wouldn't it?
Writers and tech pundits
think so. But we're not Apple engineers and
designers. What seems from the outside to be
a logical progression may seem merely
simplistic to the folks at Apple's 1
Infinite Loop headquarters. Their job isn't
so much to think about the next logical step
on a path as to set a divergent course for
what people are likely to want for years to
come.
Apple may throw everyone a
curve ball here. Imagine an Apple tablet
about the size of a 11-in. spiral notebook
with an iPhone-like touch screen. How about
the ability for the machine to recognize
voice commands and dictation of text? A
built-in video camera and maybe a
mini-projector for meetings would be nice.
And if the reports of Apple's discussion to
land print media content in the iTunes store
are true, how about an easy-on-the-eyes
display for reading electronic magazines and
books?
Embracing Two Worlds
A more fundamental question
is whether Apple's tablet will more closely
resemble an iPhone or a Mac. It will be
fascinating to see how whatever emerges
straddles those two worlds.
We use PCs and laptops to get
things done when we're stationary; we use
mobile devices to stay informed and complete
small tasks when we're out and about. This
device, it seems, will either have to
incorporate both paradigms or have to create
one of its own.
My bet? There will be a
product from Apple reasonably described as a
tablet, and Apple will reveal it during the
first quarter of 2010. That's not going too
far out on a limb. As the iPhone enters its
third year, Apple needs something new to
sell to keep delighting its customers,
inspiring envy among its competitors, and
increasing its sales.
Check your expectations about
this product at the door, though. We're
probably all in for a very big surprise.

We Need A
Seperate Community Force
Dear: Friends &
Neighbors You'll Definitely
{ { {
SAY WHAT } } }
WHEN YOU READ THIS
HEAR YE, HEAR YE, THE ENY COURT OF SHAME IS NOW IN SESSION

I have lived within
East New York Brooklyn for many year’s and yes, there are
many things ENY is still deprived of for whatever reason.
When progress takes place some of us say, it is to slow and
some of us say it is right on point. Whenever NYC decides to
add a new program to a community or allow a new business to
open, there is a legal process that everyone must go through
in order for their service to become legal. Normally you have to submit
a business proposal or the project is open to fair contract
bidding that anyone can partake in. But every now and then
there are those scary times when someone inside of a NYC
Agency takes matters into their own hands, attempts to cover up and run
The Old O-E-Doe-Kee Game
on our community. Some how all of the people involved within
the department that could normally see two seconds ago ? Strangely
all contract amnesia and at the same time also contract the
rare one of a kind, Planet Pluto Rare Blind Eye Disease,
that makes you keep your eyes wide open, but will force your
head to look the
other way when it comes down to checking out what our NYC Government
Agencies are doing when they brake their own rules and
regulations.
Strange for years it has always
been known when you own a private
business or work for a NYC Department Agency someone always gets the credit for
bringing up the good ideas. The super smart person receives
many hand claps,
pats on their back, high fives and the fanfare that goes
along with doing something right. But its really funny when a major mistake or racist
stance has been taken inside of a business or a NYC Department. No one
ever seams to know what department it came out of, who developed the idea, who was in charge
of organizing the mistake or the man or woman who gave the
final approval to deceive and take over our community
without notice. Some how everyone contracts The Rare Planet
Pluto Amnesia Disease, the culprits name or names just magically
disappear the wrongs go back right like furniture sliding
backwards into their correct place in a room without anyone
touching it, and after no one ever seams to
know who was responsible, supposed to get fired, who was the
blame, and no public on
air news apology is ever given back to our community as a whole ?
Example: The Police Athletic
League [ PAL ] was granted permission to lease The Former
NYC Owned Courthouse Building at 127 Pennsylvania and Liberty Avenues,
located inside of East New York Brooklyn N.Y USA years ago.
Many Residents, Political Officals and ENY Community Board #5 Members.
Together we fought
for the right to open The Courthouse Building and keep it as an after school recreational center
for the community to enjoy. The problem is NYC owns the entire
building and when the current tenant = Police Athletic
League { PAL } decided to move out of the building. The NYC
Police Department decided to move into the building without
letting any residents, local Political Officials or ENY
Community Board #5 Members know about it before they moved
into the building, their lies our problem. This would never
happen in an up scale community but because it is ENY
Brooklyn ? “ WHO CARES RIGHT “ !
“ WRONG: “ ENY RESIDENTS AND
POLITICAL OFFICALS DO CARE “
ENY City Councilman Charles
Barron and Concerned ENY Community Residents need your help
because every ENY Resident has been totally disrespected by
the people we love and trust the most to service our daily needs =
The NYC Police Department.
{ { { “ SLAP “,
“ OUCH “ } } }
Yes, It’s a full disrespectful
slap in the face to everyone who presently lives within our
East New York Brooklyn Community served up with a so what
attitude by our own NYPD Department !
{ { { SAY WHAT } } }
The NYC Police Department has a
very hard job to do, and yes, there are many, many great Police
Officers out there that we all love, salute and admire " New Yorks
Finest " who risk their lives every day on the line, without
blinking an eye for anyone. But then there is the unprofessional
set of non-existent Police Officers that are out there
who look to lock our youth and every person of color up who is innocent
creating kaus, and confusion to keep our community
destabilized. They soil our NYPD's Finest Name and do not
care about staining our NYPD's legendary reputation.
Here is another proven case of why so
many of our NYC residents, have been lead down the wrong
road by those same unprofessional Police Officers who we all
dislike and fear operating within The World's Finest NYC Police
Department. The air is thick with tension and our community
has been wounded mainly because we are constantly abused and
disrespected by the same government agency utilizing
unprofessional officers that are supposed
to be here to help, protect and serve us.
{ { { SAY WHAT } } }
The NYC Police Department has a
very hard job to do we know that and yes ! There Are Many Great Police
Officers out there on the job everyday. I want to say, NY Has The
Finest Police Department In The " UNIVERSE " – No Doubt, but there
continues to be a set of unprofessional Police Officers out
there that continuously create chaos within our city and
disrespect most people within our own community. Here
is another extreme example and proven case why so many NYC
residents, do not like our NYC Police Department mainly
because we are constantly abused and disrespected by the
same government agency professionals, that are supposed
to be here to help, and protect us.
{ { { SAY WHAT } } }
Mayor Bloomberg: Should start an
immediate investigation to locate and challenge the
unprofessional NYC Police Department Officers. Find
out internally who instigated, developed, directed and
released this outrageous and unlawful decision upon our
community. I have been
sponsoring special events in and outside of ENY Brooklyn N.Y
for many year’s. I can personally tell you first hand that
our ENY Brooklyn Community is terribly short of quality indoor
recreational gym space because whenever I need to sponsor a
professional Cultural Entertainment Show, Drama Play or
sponsor my Showstopper Basketball Tournaments with over 25
major sponsors. It is a major headache in order to find
high quality indoor gym space point blank ? ENY Brooklyn just does
not have enough privately owned gyms to go around and we
live in the largest community board area within the NYC five
boroughs. The NYC Police Department has definitely pinched a
raw nerve that has awoke the sleeping giant, meaning. The entire
community has once again been disrespected and now has been
activated by this incident and moving together as one in the
same direction towards repealing NYPD's Community Violation.
Don't you think NYPD, should give itself a hefty $25,000.00
violation ticket to itself, for violating a little known NYC
Public Law Listed under the hardly ever used, C-Me-Respect-Me
Law Article XXX-5-0 in the NYC Don't DISS-RESPECT Us Law Library Section
[A] taken from the of LA Rodney King - cAN'T wE aLL gET
aLONG Rules and Regulations Law Book. Hey NYC Police always give out high priced tickets
to the public for Drinking Beer and Traffic Tickets " RIGHT
" ? So why
should NYC Police get away with not giving themselves a
violation ticket and
paying for it in court too ? When they break the law just like
we do ................
{ { {
SAY WHAT
} } }.
Like Arsenio Hall - The TV
Comedian Use To Say
Its One of Those Things That'll
Make You Go
Um-mmmmmmmm
The youth within our community
are continuously going in and out of jail and our NYC Police
Department is continuously locking them up like herded
cattle galloping into the jail pen and going " Moo " ! It is a shame ENY
does not have enough recreational gym space at present to go around and
here is a gym the community urgently needs and it is stolen
away from us by our own, " NYC's Finest - Police Department " !
Where is that music coming from ? All of a sudden I hear
music flowing some where out of the background. Its getting
louder and louder and it sounds alot ? Yes, alot like the
ABC Channel 7 N.Y News Reporter Song, its getting louder and
louder, can you hear it now ...........
{ { { {
SHAME, SHAME, SHAME,
" SHAME ON YOU " }
} } }
Will the convicted
officer or officers go to jail for robbery of the community
without drawing their gun or will they be given a slap on the risk and
desk duty, only time will tell ? This shows a consistent
pattern of disrespect for ENY area residents and the community
we live in. To gain respect you must give respect first and
in order to be respected you must give it back freely in return.

Community
Activist Chris Banks ENY Resident Cares - Do You Care ?
On Wednesday November 19, 2009 Time: 5 P.M before The
Official ENY Community Board Monthly Meeting Met at 6:30 P.M.
Their was a unique protest
outside of The Old Arnold and Marie Schwartz [PAL] Courthouse Building
That Houses The Official ENY Community Board
#5 Offices,
{ { {
SAY WHAT
} } }.
The building is located at: 127
Pennsylvania and Liberty Avenue’s better known as The Former
PAL After School Center Building inside of ENY Brooklyn N.Y
USA. We hope this incident will wake up the entire NYC five
borough’s to realize, that your own community might be next.
Should we allow the people whose salaries we pay for, who
work within our NYC Government Agencies. Should we allow
city agencies to continuously abuse and break our own NYC
Government legal rules and regulations that were
specifically put in place years ago to prevent this type of
system fraud and abuse of power from happening ? If we continue to allow this to
happen, then what’s next, apartment evictions without due
process, or a court appearance ? When these types of
Government Snap-Foo’s happen it is our God given right to
speak up, sign a petition, protest and make the wrongs, turn
right. Other wise our whole USA system might break down and
we know what that would mean ! Pure Kayos will ensue,
remember this is America so
……………..

Um-mmmmmmmm
The world is full of problems I
know, your about to lose your house, your car is being
repossessed, your losing your
job, your presently unemployed and you can barely pay your rent, so
why should you care, right ! Well, you know what, I fully
understand and sympathize with you, but that is not a good
enough reason
for you to stop doing the right thing because it is the
right thing to do, and it is not a good reason for you to crawl into
a hole and die either. Just Thank God you
woke up this morning, we hope your not physically in
pain, you can walk, talk, and most of all, your are alive
and you can still see to read this
shameful information. I know there are people reading this page that
will turn a blind eye towards this teeny, tiny incident as
they might say. But let me tell ya, there is nothing small or
more important, when it comes down to equal rights for all
Americans, no matter what color they are.
Remember: This Is What Dr. Martin
Luther King Fought and Died For

Equal Rights
For All Americans.
When a
small snowball rolls down a hill ? What size does it become
at the bottom of the hill ? That’s right it gets bigger and
bigger. So remember this might seam to be a teeny, tiny
snowball problem now in the neighbor-HOOD of your mind. But
don’t complain later on in the future when you hear a knock
at your door and The Government instantly evicts you from
your own apartment in one day without taking you to court,
without providing you due process in court or giving you one hour
of
advanced notice to get out and vacate the premises. Illegal
activity always starts small and if you don't nip it in the
bud early, it can rapidly grow out of control and
become a commutable and fully blown
contagious disease that can
infect millions and can possibly turn into a huge nationwide
problem that could evolve into a worldwide epidemic.

Are You, Sick and Tired of
Being Sick and Tired ?
Then be on the lookout and sign any petition stating ENY
Needs To Keep The Old PAL Centers Gym Open at 127 Pennsylvania
and Liberty Avenues, located inside of East New York
Brooklyn N.Y USA Yes,
We Need To Keep It Open
For Residents To Use Within Our Community. Sign any petition
when ever you see it because ? What you consider to be a
small thing in your mind, is really a big thing that affects
everyone who lives around you within ENY Brooklyn and remember
don't look to be respected if you don’t stand up and respect
yourself ! Its a common reason why others don't want to pay
attention to you or want to listen to what you have to say
or think.

So Remember: Stand Up For Your Right
of
Being Respected and Never Let Anyone On Earth
“ DISS - RESPECT YOU “ !
