Time To Take Another Look At Today

I’ve lived inside of NYC for over 50 years.  I attended school back during the 1960's and will never forget what one of my teachers told me in the third grade ?  She told the class, when you grow up make sure you all get a good education to get a good job. Many foreigners always wonder why so many African and Hispanics  Americans never open up their own businesses I do admit Hispanic Americans have opened up more businesses than African Americans and the reason I feel so many African Americans do not start their own businesses is because we have always been told since we were small its been drummed into our head to go to school and get a good job or go onto college and after graduating make sure you get a good job. Now you might say what is wrong with that?  We have been told to go get a good job for so long, most of us do not know any other way to think and we have heard it for so long that most of us do not know any other way to live. Yes you can call it being brainwashed if you want to think that way because most Africans not all but most are definitely scared to think on their own out of the box feeling they'll get left behind. Remember, The Business of America Is Business and the people that enjoy the largest amount of benefits in America are business men and women and want to keep it that way no matter what you think. Without digging down to deep let me give you a teeny tiny glimpse of some of the benefits one can receive. Business people can write off their house, their car, credit card bills, cell phone bills, restaurant meals, their clothes, vacations and receive tax write offs for just about anything you can name. That is how people in America become rich because they are not using any of their own personal money to survive off of. Example Donald Trump does not use his own personal money to build the buildings he builds, manages and operates he owns a not for profit corporation that allows him do live the life he does ? Many people think a not for profit corporation means you receive or earn no money which is not true ! Owning a not for profit organization entitles you to submit business proposals to government agencies and private corporations to get funding to build the types of buildings that Donald Trump builds and sponsor other types of business ventures where you can make your salary what ever you want it to be if the corporate board allows you to do it. Donald Trumps Father built most of Flatbush Brooklyn and Astoria Queens N.Y USA. Next time you are visiting or passing through these areas notice how most of the buildings in both areas look exactly alike. I could go on and on about corporate businesses, so do your self a big favor view my business and grant funding pages and make up your own mind about your future. Please remember it takes any where from 3 – 5 year’s to build a stable business this is no free bee you must work for anything you earn in liofe period. What are you waiting for ? Get started today buy a pick, axe shovel, ride a Donkey and get going, to strike your hidden vein of gold. Yes, you too will feel the excitement, the hot breeze blow over your face and the cold chill of adventure thrills run straight up your spine like an old time gold prospector digging and searching for a rich vein of gold inside America ? In them Dar Hills.

When I attended elementary school back in the day's and all the way up through high school, I was always placed inside the one and two classes being smart was the biggest thing in the neighborhood at that time everyone including adults and kids would walk around talking about it but today it seams not matter much any more who is smart from who can read and who can not. I was always surrounded by more white students then African and Hispanic American students within my classes and I thought it was very strange. During the third grade as more and more African and Hispanics moved into the neighborhood within all of my classes. My classmates remained predominantly white and I also realized that more and more of the students kept on disappearing from my East New York Brooklyn neighborhood community as more and more white families moved out of the area. I’ll never forget back in the third grade when a teacher asked everyone in the classroom what they wanted to be when they got older? Everyone in the classroom stated that they wanted to work for somebody except me. My teacher looked it me strangely,  walked over and directly asked me what I wanted to be when I got older.

I told her I wanted to be a businessman and she told me, ha, you do not need to become a businessman you just need to get a good job like a sanitation man, or someone that would mop up and do maintenance work within a building. From that moment on I knew that she was a racist because how dear she tell me something like that and ruin my lifelong dream. As far back as I can remember all I ever wanted to do was become a business person in life and be on my own. I feel that GOD programmed each of us before we were born and once you arrived on earth you preceded to do what you were programmed for. My teacher made me very angry that day and I never forgot it, I always wanted to tell her what I really felt deep down inside but I was smart enough to realize telling her what I really felt, would just get me into trouble.  So I waited after I got my final report card at the end of the term in June and when school was getting ready to be let out for summer vacation break I waited and. On the last day when she gave me my final report card I looked up and told her what I really thought of her and then left the classroom. I knew that she couldn’t do anything about it because my school grades were great and that they were already filed into the school records and I had my final report card in my hand and walking out the door.

Of course she babbled off some nasty words at me, as I walked out of the classroom door I paid her no attention because she then became part of my past history and she did not have the power to control or change my future anymore.

{ { { SAY WHAT } } }

Back then in the 1950’s people within my neighborhood had alot more opportunities within our local board of education schools. A person could take music classes, choir classes, wood shop, electrical shop, ceramic shop, printing shop, jewerly making classes, metal shop, and women could take sewing classes, home economics cooking classes, dance classes and many other classes that were enjoyable for students and we really did like going to these classes. Today many of the classes we attended back then, are not in most of the school’s today and it’s one of the reasons why so many students lose their focus when they go to class each day and quit school all together because they are bored.

   { { { SAY WHAT } } }

I find it strange that we were given American history as far back as I can remember but in the real world American history cannot make anyone any money unless you’re going to be a history teacher. It’s a nice thing to know about American history but in today's world, I feel students should learn more about their own ethic history so they know who they are and where they came from. Part of the problem today is alot of people do not know or care about their own history and if they really did read it ? Then I feel things might be very different.

It wasn’t until I arrived in the twelfth grade that is when we first got African American history classes. I really loved it because I was finding out more and more about my ancestral history but it was really too late for me. I only had six months of the classes and after that I graduated from high school and continued my own studies reading about my African American history and it was worth every second I spent reading it.

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

The NYC Board of Education today would do better by giving people economic development business classes to show students how to start new businesses instead of just teaching about them and going out to look for a job. It doesn’t make much sense to me when a person enters a business college, graduates and then goes and applies for job to work for someone’s business when they should have written a proposal while in school, so when they graduated from the business school they would already be fully funded and could already have their own business up and running.  There are many things in this world that do not make common sense to me and many times when our elected officials change things around for the better? No one really knows if their idea is really going to pan out and be a good thing or come out and not work in the future at all. Everyone knows we need change but the question is, just what should we change, how much and when should we change it ?

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

Example, when President Clinton was in the White House he instituted the NAFTA agreement. The NAFTA agreement allowed most of the large business corporations to setup shop within other third world countries and operate, the problem the NAFTA agreement created was. Placing millions of Americans on the unemployment lines and when the same products were imported back into the country. Many of the product prices were much higher than when they were manufactured inside of the USA. So what did the NAFTA Agreement do, help or hurt us ? Most people today are sitting around waiting for jobs to come back, when most of the jobs will never return to American soil. We now live in the age where most people are going to have to make plans meaning they will have to look at opening up their own business because many of the businesses have left our country for good due to the real estate market taking a big nosedive and employee wage increases going up, up up ! most businesses feel why should I pay someone in the USA lets say $10.00 when I can pay someone in another foreign country $2.00 or less and make more money when I sell the product back in the USA ? The tax revenue that the City, State, and Federal Government normally received in the past is at its lowest point in years and now the government is having a very hard time trying to stay afloat much less trying to keep wages from going up, trying to keep wages stable and at the same time open up new jobs for all Americans to prosper from. It will take approximately 10 - 20 year's for the economy to catch up to what it was before. In 1984 I received my NYS Real Estate License. I thought I was about to become maybe the first black Donald Trump in NYC without the arrogance factor of course, but the economy just was not playing along with me. It took over 15 year's for the economy to revive itself and that was when all of the big boy companies were still fat and cozy at home in the USA. Now that the big boys have left the USA do you actually think millions of new jobs will be restarted within a small amount of time in a negative economy. Just ask common sense my best friend he'll tell you the truth ?

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

The time has come, for you to actually start thinking about what would you actually like to do if you opened up your own business? It’s not a bad idea especially with the possibility looming over head that, you just might lose your job in the future. I remember back in the day's, for a young man or woman to get their working papers they had to be fourteen years old. But most teenagers today do not start working until they are well into their  twenties and that is one of the reasons why we have so many immature teenagers running around today. Sit down and think back with me, when you got your first job, on the first night before you had to go into work I know you had to remember telling your friends you had to go to bed early tonight so you could rise early in the morning to go to work, correct. After you started working you become a more responsible person, like making sure you had enough money to get on the train or bus, having enough money for lunch and the other necessities that were needed to get you through the work day. That in turn made you more responsible made you start thinking more and helped increase your vision and insight about what you have to do and what you need to do before you went into work each day. You gained more responsibility as time went along and became more mature which gave you more focus and it turned you into a more responsible adult in life true.

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

To date most of the teenagers that do not have jobs and a higher percentage of teenagers that did get jobs are over twenty years old when they did get their first job. Most teens today act irresponsibly and you must admit that no one ever really taught them or us how to socialize with other people as we got older. Many times within our inner city neighborhoods we find as soon as the kids and teenagers get out of school they start fighting, many adults are the same way when they hang out on the street corners all because no one ever taught us how to socialize with each other. I find it strange that all of the super educators in the NYC Board of Education and that run our educational institutions across the country have never thought of this. I have never heard anyone on this earth ever say that we actually need to teach our kids socializing skills in order for them to blend into society and become better Americans. I truly feel it’s something the board of education and parents need to take seriously and start talking about it more because most people just do not know how to talk to each other. Example if a person disrespects somebody in front of a crowd their is going to be an argument that can lead up to a fight. I’ve seen this so many times because I live across the street from a school and you would think socializing is something that everyone should know. Everyone just takes it for granted that the other person just some how should naturally know how to socialize with the other person even dough he or she never had a lesson at home or school ?

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

I’ve seen stupid arguments like this turn into shootings and stabbings on the streets and people have died all because a person just did not know how to talk to the other individual correctly. Even yourself I know you have to have felt strange at times when you were talking to a friend and someone that knew the other person broke into your conversation talked to the other person, but did not say a word to you. I have seen fights eventually break out from this sometimes on the very same day or from a matter of months all because the other person broke into two peoples conversation and did not say anything to the other person and one of the parties felt disrespected.

Have you ever gone into a crowded room and you just did not know what to say to anyone in the room around you. When you were young did you feel strange and you really did not know what to say to people that were sitting around you in your new classroom. That all comes from non socializing skills because no one ever taught us about it. I feel if socializing skill classes were brought into the school classroom it would make a very big difference in the way people deal with each other and hopefully they would gain respect for their elders in the neighborhood at the same time. Most people today just do not know what to say when they meet a strange person they have never met before for the first time. Remember every thing you learn throughout your entire life is a learned behavior and we do not stop learning, until the day we die, that means life is an educational experience in its entirety, yes to the day you die !

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

Think about it did you teach your own child how to socialize with people? Did you show them the correct way of greeting a person, have you explained to them the different ways of how not to disrespect a person, how to start up a conversation with a stranger, how to get a conversation going by just talking about current news events? These are just some of the general principals of socializing with people who might not be part of your own ethic group. I think the time has come where people need to actually think about asking the schools to put together some sort of socializing classes I feel it’s important because many of the kids especially in junior high and the teens in high schools at 3 P.M come out of the doors when the bell rings, fighting with each other saying " LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE ", just because someone said something stupid to them inside of the school classroom or hallway. So think about what I just told you because I know it’ll make a major difference within our communities in the future because we have so many different ethic groups now thrown together in the same melting pot neighborhoods and most people do not know how to approach or speak to the other person correctly which creates fear and discrimination. It is of the utmost importance that people within our country know how to get along, socialize and respect each others rights. Make sure you ask your child’s school Principal do they have any socializing classes within their school? I guarantee you it will make a major difference within the NYC Board of Educations School System and within all of our NYC five borough neighborhood communities too.

WHAT DOES FORMER NYC COUNCILMAN JAMES DAVIS WHO WAS SHOT DEAD AND THE LIVONIA AVE WALKWAY BRIDGE HAVE IN COMMON ?

I had a number of friends die from senseless NYC street violence for no good reason. As Chairman of The Hudsonic Org IRT #3, BMT L Train & The LAWB Transit Improvement Committee To Connect The IRT #3 & BMT L Train Lines Through The Livonia Ave Walkway Bridge { LAWB } Between ENY & Brownsville Brooklyn N.Y USA. I was scheduled to meet with NYC Councilman James Davis the following week after he died. We both met at a community event in ENY Brooklyn and talked about how the NYC MTA train transfer connection point would benefit both Crown Heights residents as well as ENY and Brownsville Brooklyn N.Y residents.

 { { { SAY WHAT } } }

Thanks to Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Former ENY State Assemblywoman Diane Gordon and ENY City Councilman Charles Barron Offices, together we went on NY1 News and our TV news interview motivated NYC MTA to do the right thing. By working together we were able to obtain new train stations on the BMT L Train line { Formerly Known As The LL Train line } at the New Lots, Livonia Ave and The Sutter Ave train stations but the LAWB transfer point between the IRT #3 and The BMT L Train Line? Alass NYC MTA Officials lie so much all they did was place a new chrome revolving metro card entrance gate at the transfer point but they never managed to make the transfer point FREE to get on the the other train ?

It is so strange when I see a picture of Mr Davis things go into slow motion in my head as he reaches out to me and after shaking his hand scheduling to meet with him and waking up one morning, turning on the TV a few day's later, just to see that he was shot dead in The Mayors City Hall Office Building in NYC. Please watch our IRT #3, BMT L Train and The LAWB VIDEO - IN NYC Councilman James Davis Honor because he agreed with us and was about to lend his support to what you are about to see in this video. Please pass this video along to some one and tell a friend about it because this is another true life chilling story in the life of The WebMaster Randy Hudson of www.bigtimebiz.biz - A NYC Community Activist Since 1973.   Thank You

 IMPORTANT INFO FOR NOT FOR PROFITS

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Service is offering a reprieve to more than 200,000 small charities that missed a tax filing deadline and are now in danger of losing their tax-exempt status.

A 2006 law required nonprofit organizations with receipts of less than $25,000 to file tax returns for the first time in 2007. If charities fail to file for three years, they lose their tax-exempt status. The law excludes churches.

Words of Wisdom

Food for thought..!!!!  If we could all remember these things.....  This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!!! Make sure you read to the end!!!!!! Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written.  My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:   1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.   2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.  4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.  5. Pay off your credit cards every month.  6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.  7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. 0A. 10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.  11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.  12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.   13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.   15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks. 16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind. 17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. 18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.  20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.  21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.  22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.   23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.  24. The most important sex organ is the brain.  25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.  26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'  27. Always choose life.  28. Forgive everyone everything.  29. What other people think of you is none of your business. 30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.  31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.  32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.  33. Believe in miracles.  34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. 35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now. 36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.  37. Your children get only one childhood. 38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved. 39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere. 40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.  41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.  42. The best is yet to come.  43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.  44. Yield.  45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."  Its estimated 93% won't forward this. If you are one of the 7% who will, forward this with the title '7%'. I'm in the 7%. Friends are the family that we choose for ourselves

THE NEW NETS STADIUM IN DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN N.Y USA 20,000.00 JOBS

Senator John Sampson held a meeting on Saturday April 3, 2010 at the New York City Housing Authority Van Dyke Community Center which is located at 392 Blake Avenue Between Powell Street and Mother Gaston Boulevard in The Brownsville section of Brooklyn New York. The Senator was so busy that he could not make the meeting, but it  surely felt like the 1970’s was coming back in style with the electrical positive vibes you could feel moving through the air in full force.

At The New York State Senator John Sampsons meeting we met some of the leading people that will be hiring 20,000.00 workers at The New Nets Stadium Located In Downtown Brooklyn New York USA. They told us that they are looking for on the site construction workers, you must be a U.S. Citizen and 18 Years Old for skilled and unskilled labor work and check this out they will be hiring, if you have a GED Degree, and if you are a convicted felon, plus it does not matter whether you have good credit or bad credit either you will be able to obtain the job if you just go down and fill out of the papers.

                  { { { SAY WHAT } } }

 Bravo, New York State Senator John Sampson! Many of the major corporations inside of New York City discriminate against residents that have bad credit for what ever reason it should not be about whether you have good credit or not, it should just be about can you do the job correctly. I always felt not hiring a person because they presently have bad credit was illegal. I find it strange that The City Council Speaker or the Mayor Of New York City has not taken up this issue with the large business corporations.

SOLAR ENERGY GOV'T WILL GIVE YOU MONEY BACK

The U.S. government is continuing to enact measures that make it more affordable than ever for homeowners to invest in solar energy products, efficient home retrofits and other upgrades.

For example, consumers have until 2016 to take advantage of a 30 percent federal tax credit aimed at promoting home renewable energy systems, such as wind turbines and photovoltaic arrays.

More recently, the U.S. House of Representatives has approved the Home Star Energy Retrofit Act, a two-year program that encourages homeowners to make energy efficient upgrades such as installing new windows and doors, or purchasing solar water heaters or similar improvements.

The program provides rebates for up to 50 percent of a total project cost with a limit of $1,500 per home improvement. Each household can qualify for up to $3,000 in rebates under the program as long as a project can provide energy savings of at least 20 percent.

"Home Star is a practical, common sense investment in job creation and energy savings. By partnering with the private sector and homeowners, this bipartisan bill will create jobs in construction, manufacturing and retail," said Congressman Peter Welch, the Vermont Democrat who has been leading the effort to pass the bill.

The video below is why solar energy is so important

THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS WANTS YOU

We are placing this information on the web so African & Hispanic Americans can download, read it and realize If our brothers and sisters STOP going in and out of Jail inside of N.Y.S and around the U.S.A, and wake up. Many will realize that their are forces at work 24/7 to keep us in fighting against each other while they keep solidifying power to maintain the new age of modern day slavery by keeping us disconnected from accessing and controlling our own destinies.

 The NYS Upstate Communities listed on the map below and others across the USA would almost become Ghost Towns overnight if the so called minorities stopped going into jail for a living.

The prison system is a business, yes its one of the only businesses that operates 24 hour’s a day, 7 day’s a week, and 365 days a year called modern day slavery. Presently many African and Hispanic Americans today live freely in many NYS upstate counties because they want to but the prison system thrives by  generating money for many upstate counties. The problem is that many of those same Upstate Counties directly survive off of the N.Y.S Department of Correction Facilities. During the 1970's when many large corporations left the U.S.A and went international, the prison system stepped in to fill the void to supply jobs and economic stability to residents.

Did you know that you can now buy stock on Wall Street and make money from people going into the penal system if you buy Corrections, and Wackenhut Corporate Stock. These are just two privately owned and operated prison system  corporations openly sold on The N.Y Stock Exchange.

African & Hispanic Americans must somehow stop selling drugs, becoming gangsters, thugs and going into Jail. Many USA Jails keep investors rich and each of the NYS upstate county economies on the map below thrive by providing federal and state money to upstate area towns and governments who in turn pay the court Judges, Lawyers, office workers, prison administrative staff, and correctional officers working inside the prisons who then spend their paychecks within these upstate communities. The money filters down through out the entire upstate NYS county system through hardware, grocery, lumber yards, restaurant's etc and even spur homes being built and any other business that you can imagine that is needed to maintain a normal life within any USA rural area town across the USA!

 SLAVERY IS STILL ALIVE and WELL, it has just taken on another form. Attention “ Drug Dealers You Are Being USED! “ It’s A Suckers Game “! Are you one of the suckers because the game is rigged. Yes it’s illegal but the N.Y Upstate Society needs you to keep selling drugs within the NYC 5 Borough's and within every other city across America so you keep going back into jail and people living within rural areas can live a good quality of life as they laugh and smile off of your misery. Our NYS system has many flaws, arresting many of our urban city youth destroys our local communities, the very same communities that your own children will grow up in. If you are parent locked up your son or Daughter may follow in your foot steps, and you might even see your own son or daughter in the very same prison where you are locked up at.

                         { { { SAY WHAT } } }

I know your saying to yourself, what are the chances of that happening ! Well I personally know of three different fathers that are now locked up with their own sons and I know two different mothers that are now locked up with their own daughters in the same prison, believe me its true and not impossible! I personally know a family of Sons and Daughters that have followed their parents right into the prison system starting at the tender age of “13 Years Old and Up” I can tell you, a whole lot of tragic stories coming out of ENY and Brownsville Brooklyn N.Y, I know enough tragic stories that could fill four entire books by itself ! Most people are dumb enough to believe that it can’t happen to them but it does happen around the clock across the country. Yes their might be a few drug dealers that got over and made millions ? But the majority of them do not succeed and end up dead broke!

                      { { { SAY WHAT } } }

The majority of N.Y Upstate County economic development plans are built around the NYS prison system which I hope you are not presently locked up in, just look at the map below. Like, “The Old UNCLE SAM Army Poster States, “I Want You”, and most  Drug Dealers willingly volunteer themselves strange how none of them ever willingly volunteer to do the right thing back in the HOOD. notice how they gladly volunteer to do hard time in a game that is rigged from the start and one sided with a no win clause even after you finish your timely jail sentence and leave prison by forcing you to carry a life long felony sentence around your neck for something you did back when you were possibly 18 year's old or up and you are now 30 - 40 year's old.

We definitely got to get our out going NYS Governor David Patterson to put back on his  Armor Suit again as the Black Night like he did when he repealed The NYS Rockefeller Drug Laws. We must personally lead him out to mount his now famous Horse Called The White Stallion to ride once again with spear and shield in hand. The black leather saddle crunches as he mounts The Horse Screams - Ye-eeeeehe into the night as he puts on his armored gloves and prepares to do battle against by gone racist principals that have strangled and kept millions of young NYS positive people from doing the right thing due to the fact they made a mistake when they were young. No one is perfect but society continues to condemn our people for things we did back when we were young reckless and stupid. The Governor now sitting tall in the saddle, the saddle crunches as he yells Giddy-Up,

His Horse Screams. Ye-eeeeehe !

" Go For It Dave "

Yes we must help Governor David Patterson to recognize the long term negative implications of this law and help him to change the current NYS Felony Drug Laws that overwhelmingly keep our people in hand cuffs, chained down, restricted, and continue to condemn our young African and Hispanic men to a life time sentence of limited job and career choices. Many of these men want to get out of the drug dealing game and return back into the USA main stream but cannot return into the main stream after they have done their long jail sentences. Remember African and Hispanic Men and Women today are now known as the majority in America and should not be viewed or seen as the lower ethic minority class group anymore. That is just one of the main reasons why these long term racist policies were instituted in the first place. They were enacted to slow and impede our progress to success.

 NYS Governor David Patterson now has nothing to lose newspapers are already calling him a lame duck Governor but I see him as the Black Night In Shining Armor on a White Stallion with Spear and Shield in hand going to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. His horse stands tall on its two hind legs as his two front hoofs kick into the air and screams. Ye-eeeeehe go for it Dave

{ { { SAY WHAT } } }

This is definitely one of our only chances we will have as the new majority to change and get rid of the old ball and chain hand and legs shackled slavery laws. These laws have kept our people face down on the ground with a muddy boot pressed against firmly against our necks.

The WEbMAster does not condone drugs but remember when a person buys a pack of cigarettes, Liquor, Beer, Reefer, Cocaine or anything else it is of their own choice and they already know the consequences and that is harmful to their health but they still choose to do it. When a person buys drugs it is the same thing "a bad personal choice" that they should not have made in the first place. Only if a person murders, robs, rapes or steals and possibly certain other law breaking crime areas should someone be branded with a life long felony and not because they made a stupid mistake under or not under peer pressure to deal drugs. It is common knowledge that Joseph Kennedy Senior was originally a bootlegger and rose to prominence through time and was never served with a felony for running liquor during prohibition nor does anyone look down upon the family who are now revered as a honorable family. In the 1920s, Joseph Kennedy, the patriarch of the political clan, made his fortune during Prohibition as a bootlegger partnering with the likes of Frank Costello and Diamond Joe Esposito.

{ { { SAY WHAT } } }

Joseph Kennedy The Bootlegger

 There are Millions of African & Hispanic Americans presently locked up right now across the country many were directly selling drugs when their luck just ran out. Notice how, The NYS Law is specifically written to provide longer Jail Sentences to Drug Dealers Selling CRACK than if you were selling powered cocaine or Dope. Yes there are many super slick gangster drug dealers out there, but no matter how slick you think you are. It’s the humble or someone ratting or snitching on you that is going to get you and send right into Jail. Like gambling sooner or later you got to lose if you stay in the game long enough !

 Once you get busted, even if it is only your first time? The NYS Upstate county economic system strives by automatically munching away on you when you are immediately locked up. The NYS upstate counties economic hunger for money starts immediately munching and digesting you into the stomach of the jail system and then discards you after and labels you as as felony waste for a life time. The prison system then waits for another tender jail bird morsel to feed its hunger pains once again. The prison system must be fed on a daily basics because it has a very large appetite that feeds on drug dealers and other petty criminals in order for each county resident to attain and have a good quality of life to survive in today's world

.

If you live within the Red Zone {  Brooklyn's East New York, Brownsville Bed-Sty, Bushwick, Williamsburg & Red Hook Area’s } Over 70% of the inmates that are locked up inside of each NYS Upstate Prison come directly out of one of these local community area neighborhoods. Many African & Hispanic Men like lifting weights to get physically stronger but will not lift a book and read it in or out of prison to “Pump Up Their Own Thinking Muscle’s In Their Minds” why is that ? Reading is weight lifting on a different scale not for the body, but it does pump up your mind !

Remember The WEbMAster Says

CELL PHONE COMPANIES RIP US OFF

NEW YORK:  Mobile phone companies have been lauded for slashing the cost of unlimited voice plans, but many wireless customers' monthly bills are actually going to get a bit more expensive.

Last month, both Verizon (VZ, Fortune 500) and AT&T (T, Fortune 500) lowered their unlimited voice plans by $30 to $70 per month. Sprint (S, Fortune 500) recently unveiled a plan that allows unlimited calls to any mobile device for $60 per month. That brought the three biggest mobile carriers' prices closer to rival T-Mobile, which offers a $60 per month unlimited plan, and in line with a slew of low-cost carriers that offer similar plans for about $40 per month.

Bookmark and Share

But as the wireless giants go around touting their lower voice prices, data plan costs have been quietly moving higher for some non-smartphone customers.

It began with Verizon Wireless. Last month, that company began requiring certain non-smartphone customers to subscribe to a data plan that costs at least $10 per month. Mobile experts believe Verizon's move marks the first step in a larger trend to make up for carriers' lost revenue from voice.

"There's a big shift going on among mobile companies, in which there is a price reduction on voice and an increased emphasis on selling and requiring data services," said Dan Hays, partner at PRTM. "It is like a dirty little secret."

The new smartphones

Smartphone owners are used to paying for an unlimited data plan with T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T customers doling out the most: roughly $30 per month. Sprint offers a slightly different service, but also requires smartphone users to subscribe to an unlimited plan.

But non-smartphone customers aren't used to high-priced data plans. Less expensive, limited data plans have been largely available but not widely adopted. Verizon said it began to require new customers who purchase so-called "3G multimedia" phones to subscribe to a data plan in part so that they could get the full functionality out of their phones.

"Many customers didn't understand they could use the Web on their phones," said Brenda Raney, spokeswoman for Verizon Wireless. "We hope that people who were reluctant to use data plans because they didn't know it was affordable will use them now."

Previously, Verizon offered non-smartphone customers two data plans: $10 for up to 25 megabytes or $20 for up to 75 megabytes. In January, Verizon eliminated the $20 plan and replaced it with a $30 unlimited plan that was previously available only to smartphone users.

3G multimedia phones include a wide array of phones, ranging from the LG enV Touch, which has a touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard, to the Motorola Entice, essentially a standard flip phone that can access the mobile Web.

Other carriers are planning similar data requirements for their non-smartphone devices in the next several months, analysts say.

"Non-smartphone users aren't using as much data as smartphone users, but they're getting closer," said Ramon Lamas, mobile device analyst with IDC. "Carriers see them as a breeding ground for increased data usage."

Data overload vs. revenue

It's not just about increasing revenue, say analysts. Carriers are banking on the consumer-friendly aspect: phones are more fun and useful with the Internet.

"The 'naked aggression' reason is to boost revenue to offset declining voice revenue," said Charles Golvin, mobile analyst with Forrester Research. "But carriers also realize consumers won't get the enjoyment out of their devices without data."

But analysts caution that carriers need to be careful of data overload. 3G data networks are already in high demand from smartphone users, and smartphone usage was up 40% in 2009, according to an IDC study. AT&T has had well-documented 3G network troubles in New York and San Francisco due to the success of the data-hogging iPhone.

"Carriers are getting people to move to data, but they're doing it cautiously," said Lamas. "Rather than have everyone move to data immediately, they're testing the waters and taking the people who can weather higher prices first."

"Look how much revenue AT&T is getting from the iPhone," said Golvin. "It's easy for Verizon to make hay of AT&T's problems, but it's a problem that Verizon wishes it had."

                          FOOD INC

A friend of mine the other day casually told me to watch this film called “FOOD INC”. First of all I want you to know that I’am not getting any money from this, you‘ve just got to see this movie for your self it will make you stop and think dead in your tracks about the  food you are currently eating. This film is a mind blower and, a mouth dropper, and a super macho conversation babbler and grabber.

Most of us “inner city people that were not born or brought up on a farm in the country never really think about the food we buy in our local grocery stores and the fast food restaurant food that wine up in our stomachs. After seeing this film you will never look casually upon the meat you eat on a daily basics.

People that were born on a farm, look at people like myself as “city slicker green horns” when it comes down to killing an animal and eating it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Yes, I will admit I was born inside of NYC and I guess the city slicker part of the name in this instance comes from being that most people that live within inner city multiple dwelling apartment buildings and homes do not have to go out and kill their daily meal. It is true that we do not have to get up out of our beds get dressed and go out to shoot our meal as it runs by or go out to the cattle yard, or chicken coop in the backyard to slaughter a rooster or hen just to say ? Aaaaaa now that was a good tasty meal on a daily, weekly or whatever amount of time you wish in order to survive.

I’am not in any way trying to make fun of this but like Arsenal Hall The TV Comedian use to say……………………….

It’s One of Those Things That Make You Go – Ummmmmmmmmm !

City slicker fever comes in all ethnic colors and even if you are a Marshun from the planet called

{ { { SAY WHAT } } }

You too are a city slicker because you live in a place where you do not have to go out and shoot your next, meal as it runs by. A lot of us think most animals have no intelligence. Well I hate to burst your bubble but all living creatures have intelligence because they know when they are hungry, when they want sex, and they know where and how to find what they like to eat in order to stay alive just like humans do. Answering the questions that I just spoke of revels that animals do have a thought process in order to survive which means, every animal does have some level of intelligence.

There is a certain part during the film that I just could not get out of my mind. This part stayed on my mind for a whole week, now a person that grew up on a farm would probably laugh at me for saying this because they grew up watching their mother, father or relatives slaughtering helpless animals for their next meal everyday and have seen it so much that. It just does not faze or bother them anymore and they have totally become immune to it. They have grown up and now show or feelings or emotions when it comes down to watching a helpless animal being slaughtered right in front of their eyes. We as city slickers walk down to the corner store, step up to the counter and we buy our next meal compared to killing it as it runs by. The part in the film I’am talking about is, when you hear about the farmer stating that he prefers to raise his chickens on a organic farm compared to processing his chickens on a wholesale level. Make sure you look closely at this part because there is a part in the film where you will see how so called organically processes his chickens. Pay extra special attention, soon you will see one of the farmers sons individually taking each chicken out of their cage and then cutting its neck. It is a shocking wided eyed, mouth dropping experience for anyone to see. This is the part pay attention because you will see a rooster chicken in the cage awaiting his turn to be slaughtered while watching his friend being slaughtered in front of his eyes, he shows the same expression wided eye mouth dropping expression on his face as I had on my face as he realizes that he is next to be slaughtered.

               To me it is one of the parts of the film that stays in my mind and you will never forget. As you come to realize that, the expression on the chickens face is the same expression that a human being would have on their face if they were next in line to be, slaughtered! This should prove to you that chickens do have intelligence. This is a must see film and after seeing it you will never look at the food you eat again as a novice city slicker. Remember the name of the film is “FOOD INC “!

             When you see this film you will realize a couple of year’s ago, why Oprah Winfred changed her on air statement from talking negatively about the meat industry. When the meat industry contacted Oprah, I’am sure, when they got finished telling her that there are hundreds of thousands of people across the country employed within the meat industry and how would she replace those lost jobs due to her opening her mouth ?

         Oprah then realized she was in over her head and to end it all she decided to moon walk out backwards then to continue doing and saying the right thing. Nobody wants to see what the meat packers do or how they do it, city slickers in this case - meaning  anyone who does not want to go out into the backyard to capture or hide in the bushes and shoot their own meal as it runs by. We city slickers just want to eat and we do not care how we get it so long as we can buy it over our local area supermarket or grocery store counter.

Make sure you see this film, because, after seeing this film ? You’ll never look at your daily food, through the same closed eyes ever again.

Bob Moore, owner of 'Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods,' announced this week that he's transferring his business to his employees. (ABC News)

In 1978, he started Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods, as a small family-run business in Oregon selling stone mill-ground whole grains.

The company has since grown into a multi-million dollar business that sells more than 400 whole grain products including flours, hot cereals, and organic and gluten-free products.

Moore is dedicated to making America healthier and he believes Bob's Red Mill is a small part of the solution.

"Our company needs to exist so that some of the people that eat our product will be healthier -- and I think they will be," he said.

Employee-Run Business

Moore's work is a way of life and his employees are a second family, which is why he announced this week that he's handing over the keys to his 209 employees.

Mr Moore said he's gotten countless buy-out offers over the years, but he couldn't envision selling the business to a stranger.

THE ENY & BROWNSVILLE PEACE KEEPERS HAVE ARRIVED

                   Senator John Sampson held a meeting on Saturday April 3, 2010 at the New York City Housing Authority Van Dyke Community Center which is located at 392 Blake Avenue Between Powell Street and Mother Gaston Boulevard in The Brownsville section of Brooklyn New York. The Senator was so busy that he could not make the meeting, but it  surely felt like the 1970’s was coming back in style with the electrical positive vibes you could feel moving through the year in full force.

When I walked into the Van Dyke Community Centers meeting room WWLIB, WWRL DJ Bob Law was standing in front of the seated residents speaking about the new Peace Keepers coming into our ENY and Brownsville Brooklyn community to become the buffer between The NYC Police Department Police Officers, the residents and the youth within our community. I was so happy to see this because I have been telling residents in the community and area politicians for a number of years that this is what we really needed within the community to stop the violence against residents from our own New York City Police Department Officers.

There are many great Police Officers, on duty everyday within The New York City Police Department but as we all know,  their are a large amount of NYC Police Officers on duty for years who do not really care about our community or the way we feel. I hope the Peace Keepers will make a difference and I hope that the residents within our community support them fully and help them whenever needed.

I grew up in ENY Brooklyn and I have seen many innocent people’s lives destroyed due to lack of information and drugs. I love the Peace Keepers and I just wish they were around back in the 1960’s when fear and violence was part of our everyday lives.  If you walked out your front door during the 1960’s – 1970’s you might be involved in a violent incident just by minding your own business with the NYC Police Department or from the local  racist white people who did not want you in their ENY and Brownsville Communities. I also want to be known that I am not a racist and I know the NYC Police Department has a very hard job to do also. Somehow we need to find a new way of working with our NYC Police Department by sitting down more and talking to them because when we have a problem of our own we definitely want them to come and help us.

During the 1970’s my friend and neighbor Elliott Mercardo, who lived down hall from me was shot to death by a New York City Police Officer for mining his own business inside of the hallway of 385 Fountain Avenue, between Blake and Dumont Avenues In The Cypress Hill’s Housing Projects in ENY Brooklyn and the Police Officer never went to jail and is still walking around Free. My close friend Butchie Evans who I went to school with each day his Brother Randy Evans was also shot dead by a NYC Police Department Officer and the officer never went to jail and Elliott was also minding his own business too. I’ve seen so many people shot on the evening news and many of them were not involved in any type of crime or even in possession of a weapon. Another friend  I knew Jeffery Moore was also shot to death inside of, the Cypress Hill’s Housing Projects also during the late 1960’s and he also did not have a weapon and was not involved in a crime. Even myself The WEbMAster Randy Hudson as a positive community activist, involved in only positive events within my own community, was almost shot to death twice for mining my own business too by NYC Police Department Officers. So you see Living within our community on a daily basis is very scary especially when we have to look over your back when you hear a police car siren and watch out for a NYC Police Department Officer, coming after you. When people in the community see NYC Police Officers walking or riding in their cars, many of us have a fear that the police are German Ca-sta-fo Agents coming to beat, take you away and never return. Rapid fear in our communities is pervasive throughout the area and has been established from years of disrespect by our own NYC Own Police Department Officers. I hope The Peace Keepers can dispel the ramped fear living within our community and help make the NYC Police Department listen to them the residents and turn over a new leaf within our community.

I salute NYS Senator John Sampson, The First African-American Democratic Majority Party Leader In Albany New York State, for bringing the Peace Keepers into our community and I hope to see many more innovative programs from him in the future that open up throughout New York State to increase employment, organization within the community and increase the quality of life for all NYS residents no matter the color or where they may live.

- Randy Hudson

Charter School Seniors: They All Graduated " WOW " !

3.6.10 - The entire senior class of 107 students at Chicago's only public all-male, all-African-American high school has been accepted to four-year colleges.

The entire senior class of 107 students at Chicago's only public all-male, all-African-American high school has been accepted to four-year colleges.

Urban Prep Academy senior Keith Greer, along with his classmates, celebrates the news they will receive a free prom in Chicago because 100 percent of the graduating class was accepted into 4-year colleges or universities.

Four years ago, Bryant Alexander watched his mother weep.

She stared down at a muddle of D's and F's on his eighth-grade report card and threatened to kick him out. He had barely passed elementary school, and high school wasn't even on his radar.

"Something just clicked," Alexander, now 18, said. "I knew I had to do something."

On Friday, Alexander proudly swapped his high school's red uniform tie for a striped red and gold one — the ritual at Englewood's Urban Prep Academy for Young Men that signifies a student has been accepted into college.

As the Roseland resident and 12 others tied their knots, Chicago's only public all-male, all-African-American high school fulfilled its mission: 100 percent of its first senior class had been accepted to four-year colleges.

Mayor Richard Daley and city schools chief Ron Huberman surprised students at the all-school assembly Friday morning with congratulations, and school leaders announced that as a reward, prom would be free.

The achievement might not merit a visit from top brass if it happened at one of the city's elite, selective enrollment high schools. But Urban Prep, a charter school that enrolls all comers in one of Chicago's most beleaguered neighborhoods, faced much more difficult odds.

Only 4 percent of this year's senior class read at grade level as freshmen, said Tim King, the school's founder and CEO.

"There were those who told me that you can't defy the data," King said. "Black boys are killed. Black boys drop out of high school. Black boys go to jail. Black boys don't go to college. Black boys don't graduate from college.

"They were wrong," he said.

Every day, before attending advanced placement biology classes and lectures on changing the world, students must first pass through the neighborhood, then metal detectors.

"Poverty, gangs, drugs, crime, low graduation rates, teen pregnancy — you name it, Englewood has it," said Kenneth Hutchinson, the school's director of college counseling, who was born and raised in Englewood.

He met the students the summer before they began their freshman year during a field trip to Northwestern University, the first time many of them had ever stepped foot on a college campus. At the time, Hutchinson was Northwestern's assistant director of undergraduate admissions. Inspired by what he'd seen, he started working for Urban Prep two months later.

"I'm them," he said Friday as he fought back tears. "Being accepted to college is the first step to changing their lives and their communities."

Hutchinson plays a major role in the school, where college is omnipresent. Students are assigned college counselors from day one. To prepare students for the next level, the school offers a longer than typical day — about 170,000 minutes longer, over four years, than other city schools — and more than double the usual number of English credits, King said

Even the school's voice-mail system has a student declaring "I am college-bound" before asking callers to dial an extension.

The rigorous academic environment and strict uniform policy of black blazers, red ties and khakis isn't for everyone. The first senior class began with 150 students. Of those who left, many moved out of the area and some moved into neighborhoods that were too dangerous to cross to get to the school, King said. Fewer than 10 were expelled or dropped out, he said.

At last count, the 107 seniors gained acceptance to a total of 72 different colleges, including Northwestern University, Morehouse College, Howard University, Rutgers University and University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Alexander was accepted to DePaul University.

While college acceptance is an enormous hurdle to jump, school leaders said they know their job isn't done; they want to make sure the students actually attend.

To that aim, King said, staff made sure that every student has completed the dreaded Free Application for Federal Student Aid, lest the red tape deter them.

Later in the year, the school plans to hold a college signing day where every student is to sign a promise to go to college, he said. Staff will stay in touch through the summer and hopefully in the first years of school.

"We don't want to send them off and say, ‘Call us when you're ready to make a donation to your alma mater,' " King said. "If we fulfill our mission, that means they not only are accepted to college, but graduate from it."

For now, students are enjoying the glow of reaching their immediate goal.

Normally, it takes 18-year-old Jerry Hinds two buses and 45 minutes to get home from school. On the day the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana was to post his admission decision online at 5 p.m., he asked a friend to drive him to his home in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

He went into his bedroom, told his well-wishing mother this was something he had to do alone, closed the door and logged in.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" he remembers screaming. His mother burst in and began crying.

That night he made more than 30 phone calls, at times shouting "I got in" on his cell phone and home phone at the same time.

"We're breaking barriers," he said. "And that feels great."
