All NYC Beacon After School Programs, Churches and Day Care Centers Are Federally Registered 501-C3 Not For Profit Organizations [ NFP ]. Don't let the word Not For Profit organization fool you. They are all MEGA USA Corporations it just depends on what direction the owner wishes to take them in. Can't find a JOB then say to your self " I WILL NOT BE DENIED " and start your own NFP Organization. You can do almost anything you can imagine with your own not for profit corporation just like a regular corporation the difference is you don't pay any USA taxes. It's true, but first you must file for your own Federal 501 - C3 Not For Profit Corporation and obtain your own Tax Exempted EIN# in order to apply and receive some of the free grant money listed below from small and large private Corporations, Local Elected Political Officials, and Local Area Store Owners. Grants can be any where from one dollar to millions of dollars and almost any and every thing can be donated to your organization free of charge including a house, YES I DID SAY HOUSE !. This is not a get rich quick scheme by any means, anything worth having in life you are going to have to put some serious work and time into it in order for it to grow like a flower and fully bloom to become successful. After all building your own business brick by brick is what " The American Dream ", is all about, " RIGHT " !

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarships
Through its Education and Leadership Program, the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to $7,500 annually to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

You must be a U.S. citizen in order to qualify for the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Award. In addition, you cannot possess a 2 or 4 year degree when apply for this scholarship. The application package must include ONE (1) letter of recommendation and an official transcript (with raised seal). In addition, all applicants are required to take either the SAT or the ACT and submit their scores. The Foundation's college codes are:
SAT: 4248 ACT:6570.

Please note that the College Board is NOT responsible for delivering your ACT/SAT test scores to the Foundation on time. If you are taking the test multiple times, please select the testing dates PRIOR to the due date on March 31, of each year

If your official high school transcript includes your SAT and/or ACT scores, it is not necessary for you to authorize the College Board to send your scores to us. We will accept the scores listed on the OFFICIAL transcript.

ALL SAT/ACT SCORES, LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATIONS AND OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE MAILED TOGETHER AND RECEIVED BEFORE MARCH 31ST!! WE DO NOT ACCEPT FAXES!! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!
